Self-service commercial coffee machines are the latest “must-have” for convenience stores, corner shops and newsagents. The coffee-to-go boom has not shown any signs of slowing and c-stores are in a unique position to offer customers coffee when and where they want it.

In recent years, the way people drink coffee has changed. Consumers want convenience and quality; not one or the other. We have seen brands such as Costa capitalise on this market change by placing self-service coffee machines in supermarkets. According to Allegra Strategies, the out-of-home coffee market has grown 11% year on year so the coffee-to-go boom is showing no sign of slowing down.

Another survey, in collaboration with Nestle, found that more than half of respondents buys coffee-on-the go, with 19% regularly purchasing coffee from convenience stores. Nonetheless, quality and taste were the most important factors.

A coffee machine is another revenue stream for c-stores to consider. Think about it – you can make an earning on every cup and that opportunity (and your footfall) grows if you sell high-quality coffee. Value is important to consumers and c-stores can offer the same quality coffee as a supermarket but at a lower price.

With that in mind, Change Beverages have a fantastic new offer available. When you purchase a Lavazza Matrix Mini Magnum bean-to-cup commercial coffee machine (£1500), we will give you 1 free case of Lavazza Pronitissimo coffee, 1 free case of hot chocolate and 1 free case of granular whitener. The case of coffee alone yields 1500 black coffees so, at £1 per cup, you’re already covering the cost of the machine!
